Surprise! I have a Kindle Vella Serial
I've wrestled with myself for a while about whether or not I could do a serial. It's not a format I have a lot of experience with, if I'm being honest. However, I felt like this was a neat way to get to work on a different, stand-alone project I've had simmer in the background for a few years.
Kindle Vella is extremely limited in how much description they allow for a story, so here's the full blurb I wrote before I realized I only had 500 characters. You'll see an abbreviated version on Vella.
❦
Since the old king’s death, Princess Aiosel tried to avoid the attention of her step-mother and the new king. Miserable at court, she flees to the frontlines of the on-going war, hoping to put her scandalous magical talents to use helping those wounded for her brother’s ambition.
Sent to negotiate for peace with the magic-less Torillians, Caidus never expected to find a granddaughter of sorcerers at the dinner table. Desperate to secure any advantage for his people, Caidus makes an audacious proposal.
Bound together by the general’s gamble and the king’s deceit, Caidus and Aiosel must learn to trust one another before time runs out on this duplicitous deal.
Beta Readers Needed!
Finding the Dragon will be ready for beta readers around the end of March. If you're interested in being a beta reader, please fill out the linked application. Beta readers are a very important part of the writing process. They make the book better! And you'll be featured in the acknowledgements! The magic word is Hatchling.

Coming Soon
I had the pleasure of snagging an ARC for Evercott's Enchanting Fate. It's a delightful Beauty & the Beast retelling... with a twist, of course. Pick it up from Amazon on March 1st.
