99c Sale, Villains vs Heroes and much more...

Happy November!
If you've read my previous missives, you probably know that I am currently "touring" the US.
"Touring" is in quotations because, despite having a full month allocated here, I am spending most of my time with my family in the Mid-west.
I did manage to travel to the writer's conference in Las Vegas, though, and left with renewed energy and inspiration to write. Other than attending lovely panels with successful indie authors, I particularly enjoyed meeting other authors, especially my fellow Brazen Belles, Kathleen Ayers and Cara Maxwell.
If you're not familiar with the Brazen Belles, come check out our group here!
It's a Facebook group created by twelve steamy historical romance authors. We post all kinds of fun book-related content, including our new release alerts, giveaways, fun facts, and simply chat with our readers. (There's even a picture of us from Vegas in the group!)
Anyway, Vegas was a week filled with learning and a bit of fun. Yes, I gambled. Yes, I lost $40 at poker! No, I didn't fall in love with a "gambling hell" owner.
Next up on my US itinerary are Chicago and NYC!
Moving on to my bookish updates...
Well, there are a few things I need to get off my chest. I am working on two deadlines at the moment. Both books are due by the end of 2023...! Which isn't that bad. But considering that I suck at writing and traveling at the same time, this is going to be a bit tough. (I really should get used to this lifestyle by now!)
One of those books is Mad Duke March, book 3 in the multi-author series the Rake Review! This series will consist of twelve books, and eleven of them are already on pre-order!
Mad Duke March will also be book 1 in my upcoming series A Series of Unfortunate Rakes! (If you've read A Wager with the Gentleman and How the Scot Stole Christmas from the Christmas in Cumbria anthology, you might recognize some familiar names making an appearance in this book!)
We have some amazing swag you can buy to go along with the books, including but not limited to a hot calendar, mugs, and totes!
Ok, before we get any further... I promised you a 99c sale!
And since Christmas is coming up, this is the perfect time to get this beautiful anthology for only 99 pennies!

If you haven't read the book yet, here are short excerpts from some reviews to, hopefully, nudge you into picking up the book!
★★★★★ Glorious Bastard - You Made Me Love You, I didn’t want to do it
“I admit it, I wanted William to turn good in the end. I wanted him to be worthy of Victoria and I wanted him to walk the straight and narrow and never have to hang his head in shame.
But that is not the William we know and have come to love. He is who he is and it made this book the better for it.” - Charmaine DaCosta
★★★★★ "Holy Cow what an awesome read - it was longer than most books I am used to reading but I turned pages so quickly to find out what could possibly happen next & I literally could not put it down!" - Lana Birky
★★★★★ "Thrilling and captivating I have been waiting for William and Victoria‘s story and finally it‘s here! I love all books by the author, but this one is my new favorite! It‘s a thrilling story with an intriguing plot, wonderful characters, suspense, sizzling hot passion, heartwarming romance and heartbreaking insights. A real rollercoaster of emotions!" - marionloew
★★★★★ "This story was about a man that we should not like. Instead Sadie Bosque has crafted a devil who lies and thieves to get what he wants and I loved him! He was dark, unfeeling, cunning, flawed, and complex but when he fell in love with Victoria the love he showed her was unwavering, undeniably intense and the type of devotion we wish to encounter ourselves." - Fanosse23
A Thief. A Liar. And the only man she ever loved.
William survived the streets of London on his own since he was a child. Deception, theft, and trickery were his only allies. He carved out every advantage with his own wit and cunning. So when he fell hopelessly in love with Victoria—a friend’s niece, and a princess!—he knew the only way to win her heart was by lying.
A princess without a country. A wife without a husband.
Victoria came to London hoping for an advantageous union. Instead, she was tricked into marriage by a bastard and a criminal. Now, she's determined to forget the arrogant husband she once loved. And that’s exactly when William waltzes back, determined to earn her heart and forgiveness.
But can he truly leave his life of deception behind and become the hero she needs? Or is he about to pull off the ultimate con?
Ummm... yeah, if you haven't realized it yet, William, the hero of this book is not exactly a good guy. He is an antihero, a morally grey character... some might even call him a villain.
I love writing and reading about bad boys. Not all my book heroes are rakes, villains and scoundrels, though. I have good guys, bad guys with a heart of gold, I have just plain a-holes.
Which ones do you prefer? Villains, heroes or anti-heroes? And who is your favorite hero from the ones I've written?
That's it from me for now! And as usual, here are some books from my friends.
New Releases from my friends:
Secrets, Lies, and a Lock
Ever since her father’s unexpected death, Cecilia Chenoweth has felt like the heroine of a bad Gothic novel. In addition to leaving her alone and destitute, her father made a deathbed confession that it was no mere fever that took her mother’s life some twenty years ago. Then he pressed a sinister key into her hands, bidding her to go forth and uncover the truth. If only she knew where to find the lock that will open to the mysterious key…
Cold, Bold, and Dangerous to Know
There is one man who recognizes the black key bearing the emblem of a snake: Marcus Latimer, the newly minted Duke of Trevissick. Now that his abusive father is rotting in hell where he belongs, Marcus is eager for his life to stop resembling a bad Gothic novel. No one would ever have thought to pair the dangerously handsome duke with the meek little rector’s daughter. But as he helps Cecilia on her quest, Marcus discovers a well of passion hiding behind her sloe eyes that may just be a match for his own.
Two Hearts on a Perilous Path
But Cecilia’s search for the truth about her mother’s death unearths dark secrets from Marcus’s past, secrets that will destroy the new life he has built for his beloved sister and condemn one of the few people he cares about to death. What will he do when he is forced to choose between loyalty… and love?

'Love in the Scottish Highlands' comprises all three volumes of the enchanting 'Bright Young Things' trilogy:
'Highland Pursuits', 'Highland Christmas' and 'Highland Wedding'
It's 1928 and Bright Young Things are taking London by storm, but debutante Ophelia's life is all mapped out: marriage to a cod-faced aristocrat and a life of dull respectability.
Refusing to play along, Ophelia is banished to her ancestral home in the Highlands of Scotland.
There, she'll be so bored, she'll come to her senses... won't she?
Meeting her eccentric relatives (not to mention ruggedly handsome estate manager Hamish) Ophelia isn't so sure.
Let the mayhem begin!
Prepare for romance, mischief and hilarity in this 1920s comedy of manners, set against the majestic backdrop of the Scottish Highlands.
All that stands between Viscount James Ashworth and a much-anticipated quiet retirement is one simple assignment: protect the Prince Regent at a holiday house party.
But there's one thing this seasoned spy didn't count on--his childhood friend, Lady Gwyneth Beaumont, who has blossomed into an enticing, passionate hellion.
Gwyneth herself has a secret mission of her own: prove she's worthy of joining the Code Breakers and win the heart of the hard-headed viscount she's loved since they were children. Yet when her spying uncovers a secret so shocking the enemy would kill for it, she's thrown head-first into a dangerous world of intrigue, deceit, and treachery.
With Ash by her side, Gwyneth is unstoppable. Soon the notorious rake realizes that the woman he'd always considered off-limits is his perfect match, this Christmas and forever after--if only they can survive long enough for that mistletoe kiss.
