Happy Holidays!

December has arrived, which means it’s officially time to retire last year’s calendar and replace it with something far more useful—namely, hot rakes and scandalous clinch art.

If you agree (and I know you do), I have just the calendar for you.

But before we get to that—because patience is a virtue and all that—there are a few things I need to tell you.

So. Many. Things.

First up: Gone with the Rake, Book 1 in my Inglorious Scoundrels series, is currently free with your Amazon Prime subscription (on Amazon.com).

What does that mean you ask?

Well, if you have Prime membership, you already have access to a library of free books on amazon—and until February 28Gone with the Rake is one of them.

No need for Kindle Unlimited, no extra hoops. Just grab it, read it, and enjoy the steamy chaos (pun intended, iykyk).

FREE in KU and with PRIME

Now, I can hear some of you saying, “But it’s December. I only read Christmas stories in December.”

Fear not. I have you covered.

How the Belle Stole Christmas is currently in Kindle Unlimited, and it’s the perfect festive indulgence:

New Release!

Seven stories.

Seven authors.

Seven delightfully twisted retellings of your favorite Christmas movies—from A Christmas Carol to Die Hard.

Yes, that Die Hard.

And yes, it's a Christmas movie! (Yes it is, do not argue lol)

Of course, the Die Hard retelling is my contribution to this anthology featuring secret passages, passion, and one extremely irritated duke trying to save Christmas (and his wife).

🔥 If you like your holidays merry, bright, and mildly unhinged, this anthology is for you.

And if multi-author collabs are your love language, you’ll be pleased to know that Rake Review is returning in January with Season II.

If you somehow missed Season I (we need to talk), it’s a series all about irresistible rakes getting absolutely brought to their knees.

But for the second season... we’re bringing back stepback art!

If you’re not familiar with stepback art, allow me to introduce this deliciously scandalous feature—it’s the steamy artwork that will adorn the back cover of every book in the series.

The first three books are already on preorder.

Pre-Order now!

Which brings us—at last—to the calendar.

And before you ask... yes, stepback art IS on the calendar. Here's just one page for your perusal.

...

You’re welcome.

Just a note that you will have to change your content filter to be able to view this R rater item...

Yes, R rated! Why? Because it includes our steamy stepbacks!

One last thing before I vanish back into the writing cave.

I receive a lot of messages from you and... I absolutely love hearing from you! I love, love, love, love your thoughts, your takes on your favorite characters, the plot twists that made you gasp or throw your Kindle across the room.

But I also noticed a pattern in those messages.

So many of you confess the same thing: you have no one else to talk to about historical romance. No one who understands the appeal of a well-timed glove removal or a morally compromised duke.

It is, tragically, not easy to spot a fellow hist rom enthusiast in the wild.

But did you know that there is a whole community out there?

We built the Brazen Belles with my fellow authors: a Facebook group for historical romance lovers who want to gush, rant, debate, and collectively lose their minds over excellent books.

Come join us. Bring your opinions. Your enthusiasm. Your unhinged love of rakes, morally grey heroes, and cinnamon rolls.

And this year, we’re carving out a special nook just for Rake Review Season II readers—with dedicated readalongs so you can discuss every delicious moment in real time.

What is a readalong?

It’s a month-long reading party where everyone reads the same book. Readalong leaders post weekly discussion questions and prompts, and the group jumps in to chat, debate, swoon, rage, and spiral together.

But we need your help. We’re looking for readers who:

• Are members of the Brazen Belles Facebook group

• Love the Brazen Belles authors

• Enjoy discussing books (not just reading quietly in the dark 👀)

• Want to help lead a fun, engaged reading experience

Your role as a readalong leader:

• Read the book

• Create discussion questions and prompts

• Post those prompts on their assigned week

• Chat, discuss, lament, curse, fawn, and generally have fun with fellow readers.

Your perks:

• A free ARC of the book you’re leading.

• Swag from the author.

If you want to be a reader-leader, just fill out the form below!

• You may apply for as many books as you like

• We’ll choose 2–3 leaders per book

• Not everyone will be selected—but we will contact all chosen leaders before the new year

Apply here!

Q: I don’t want to be a readalong leader, can I still participate?

A: Yes. Not only can you participate, but you’re encouraged to. And every participant will enter a monthly giveaway, too! Details about all that later. Right now, we need to pick our leaders. (In the meantime, join our group and familiarize ourself with our fun members)

Q: I want to be a readalong leader, but I don’t know what to do! Will I get guidance?

A: Absolutely! Our lovely admin Estela will guide you through the whole thing.

Q: As a leader, am I required to make graphics?

A: Nope. Unless you want to for fun. Main graphics will be provided for you.

Feel free to ask any other questions! This is the first time we are trying this, so let’s make it fun for everyone together!

You’ll finally be among your people.

P.S. Did I promise a cover reveal at some point? If I did, I apologize for the delay. I just have too many things to tell you! But I promise, it's coming sooooon.

Cheers,

Sadie
