I'm giving a talk and I'd love you to join!

Happy Friday,
This week you'll get a short and sweet email from me.
Every so often I do a talk at a conference or for an online group and one of those dates is coming up.
On April 8th I'll be giving a talk on how to introduce Test-Driven Development to teams even if you aren't technical.
I'd love to have you join, ask questions, and let me know what you think! It's completely free, and it's an event put together by some great folks.
A little behind the scenes on what my prep process is since it strikes even regular conference speakers as nutty.
My process starts with me just talking through my intended subject until I run out of words. I do this every day until my message starts to get more focused and concise. I then start adding slides to reflect the points I keep coming back to. While I'm putting these repetitions in, I run a stopwatch to see where my timing is. After about 20 of these repetitions I can do the talk in my sleep, the slides I never have to look at, and the timing is predictable.
In the case of this talk, I've gone through about seven repetitions so far, and I'm even incorporating a live demo. My first few runs clocked in at 1 hour and 20 minutes, but now I'm down to about 45 minutes.
I'll keep practicing every day until April 8th, when I hope to see you there!
Here's my weekly update for March 21st, 2025...
