Le’hasa!

Welcome back to Argren – a kick-ass epic fantasy series about witches and rebels who take on an evil oligarchy – a story for our times.

What we’re writing

As promised, part 2 of Run, Kessa, Run, a short story set the Spirit Song Saga timeline.

What we're reading

Our Firkins and Fantasy book club just finished another fable-like story, The River Has Roots by Amal El-Mohtar. According to one of our group, the Audiobook features music and singing by the author and her sister.

Looking for a dark fantasy? I haven’t read this author yet, but here is the blurb about The Volcon Knights: Origins:

When darkness bleeds into reality, five immortal warriors stand between humanity and cosmic annihilation. A dark fantasy epic of immortal warriors, cosmic horror, and the ultimate question: what makes consciousness worth preserving when corruption promises an end to all suffering?

Why we love Milwaukee

If you decide to make the upper Midwest your home, you have to lean into the change of seasons. You get cozy inside, and dress for the weather outside. Looking forward to the first chance to put on our cross-country skis.
