It's a New Year's Miracle! LOL!

Biggest news first: for everyone who has stuck with me since the original release of WOOD back in the spring of 2017 and for anyone who's been wondering if I'm ever going to get around to finishing the bonus scene for that book that I promised back in 2017...you should sit down.

First: the Wild Romance books are in the (slow) process of getting new covers updated with the cute, cartoon style that's popular currently. (Currently I only have one for Wood.)

I happen to love this cover style-- BFF is horrified at the trend. And it is totally possible that by the time all four covers are finished, the style will be out of date and I'll have to start over. #bookcoverproblems I guess.

Second:Gail and Blaze have a bonus scene!

I know, right?! I'm shocked too.

It's just a short peek at where they are a few years later, try not to read too fast.

I'm back to work on the next Match Maker book: A Promising Start and hope to have that wrapped up soon. (No need to notice my fingers crossed behind my back when I say that!)

This year, I'm going easy on the resolutions. I know I'm not the only one who's planning on easing into the new year nice and slow, wary of what's lurking around the corner ready to pounce.

With that said, I do have plans for a new series in 2023 that will circle around to a project I'd wanted to work on a few years back and tie into the Do-Over Pact "universe." Wish me luck.

As far as my personal life in hobo house (converted cargo trailer-- totally adorable, BTW) and where I'll be writing these books? NO CLUE! But I'll keep you posted.

What are your plans for 2023? I'm dying to hear about how you plan to spend the next year. Will you be taking it on in full armor, prepared to do battle and finally get around to the things you hoped to do since 2020?

That's the bestie's plan. She's been plotting world domination and cackling maniacally from her room at all hours of the night for the last two days.

Or will you be hiding under the covers and only coming out once someone you trust has assured you it's safe?

I'm somewhere in between with a cautiously optimistic approach-- but fully prepared to dive back into bed at the first hint of trouble.

Happy New Year Everyone! Here's hoping for the best!
