I just wanted to sneak in one more email before the big weekend holiday-- for those who do the Christmas thing-- and a mid-celebration shout-out for those doing the Hanukkah thing (and a post party salute to those who just did the Solstice thing, and a batten-down the hatches hello for everyone who's about to roll into the Kwanzaa thing and, believe me-- I know!-- there are actually a hat full of other celebrations that take place around the world and throughout history this time of year, I can't list them all!)

My plot to surprise the bestie upon her return to our temporary Washington DC address with a festively decorated tree went awry when Walmart "lost" the package in shipment-- but Amazon saved the day, albeit four days later.

We're ready now though!

The good news is that this little table-top tree will be easy to get back to the west coast when we leave Washington and will be perfect for future Christmases in the little trailer. (I admit to being slightly bummed to not be spending my holiday in my cutesy little hobo house parked somewhere with an awesome view.)
