Sorry I skipped last week's newsletter; I actually wrote it three times! But between spotty internet access and my mailing list service-- it disappeared! I finally gave up, went back to my campsite, and started drinking writing the next book.

Now that the rafting season is over, I won't need to leave Moonshine Ridge to go down to the big warehouse stores till next summer and that means doing more of my shopping locally.

The curvy brunette at the register is not the octogenarian store keeper that I've known my whole life and I know for a fact she doesn't belong to any of Alice's grandsons, the McAllister brothers, either.
Because this woman is mine.

Out here in nomad life, things are starting to fall into place. I think I finally am figuring out how to schedule my internet chores so I'm not complaining or apologizing quite as much about not having my act together.

My latest masterpiece. The sunset after a pretty gnarly storm ripped across this section of Nevada on the day I was diligently trying to send a newsletter!
Still no lightning shots. This storm moved over me so fast, the lightning was way too close for comfort! So instead of trying to get pictures, I was just trying to get away. I got this photo of the sunset once I was out from under the storm.
This life is crazy!
But it gives me lots of time to write! Stay tuned! Next week has some cool stuff on the way!
