Trusting the Mountain Man is up for Pre-Order and only 99 Cents

Hey Rockstars!
So I am here to excitedly, and also anxiously, announce that my NEW mountain man series is a go!
Before I dive into the good stuff-- here's the inside scoop:
- This is the very first time I have ever put a book up for pre-order. I did it specifically to dove-tail with some timing issues and so far, so good. But I have seen so many pre-orders go wrong for other authors and I'm nervous about it working out well in the end.
- The new series is SO MUCH FUN to write! But it's also a turn into the straight up OTT, insta-love short story candy that I love as a reader. After a lot of ruminating on the matter and bugging the heck out of several friends and colleagues for their opinions, I decided it was not such a deviation from what I've written in the past that I should start a whole new pen name for it. But I'm totally nervous about what you'll think and so I'm wringing my hands a little and probably making too much of a fuss to make sure everyone knows-- there will be curvy virgins and growly, protective men, wrapped in short stories that should take an hour to an hour and a half to devour in one sitting.
I've never tried to specifically nail the OTT, Insta-love story format-- I think I have a way to go yet, but like I said-- it is so much fun to write the Moonshine Ridge books! You may have to come live in this town with me for awhile.
So, now with all disclaimers aside-- you can grab a copy of Trusting the Mountain Man on pre-order right here, right now for only 99 pennies!
It goes live on Friday, April 14 and will stay at 99 cents for the foreseeable future. And, of course, it will be available to read for FREE in Kindle Unlimited.
Ash McAllister
My brothers and I grew up right here in Moonshine Ridge, running as wild as the mountains we live in. As an experienced part of the local volunteer rescue and recovery crew, I've recovered more than one vehicle that wasn't equipped for the four by four trails that wind through the rugged landscape. But when I pull a terrified young woman from a river crossing gone wrong, I know I'll never be able to let the curvy beauty go.
Hyacinth is new to more than the outdoors and when she trusts me to teach her about more than camping, I make sure she knows she's mine forever.

I'd always wanted to try camping but my family isn't the outdoorsy type. So I decide on an adventure to celebrate my eighteenth birthday, camping alone in the pristine wilderness near the tiny mountain town of Moonshine Ridge.
Things aren't going great, to be honest, but I'm determined to make the best of it even if my inexperience has me wishing I had someone more experienced to teach me the ropes.
Until I catch a wild looking mountain man staring at me from across the river. His hair is long, his beard is longer, and he's so big he looks like he could snap the trees in half with his bare hands.
He looks like one of those feral recluses living in a shack off grid, and he's looking at me like he's thinking I'm his next victim.
But when that same untamed mountain man rescues me from a poorly timed river crossing, I find out that not only is Ash McAllister 100% protective mountain man who really is obsessed with me-- I want to belong to him forever.
Looks like sleeping under the stars isn't the only thing I'm doing for the first time in these mountains.

Dear Reader:
Welcome to Moonshine Ridge and the rugged wilderness surrounding the historic mountain community where the history is long, the local lore is deep, and the men are as wild as the mountains they come from.
Protective, possessive, totally obsessed; the men of Moonshine Ridge will do anything necessary to claim the woman they love and give her the happily ever after she deserves.
Call it insta-love, but the men of Moonshine Ridge fall fast, hard, and forever.
They don't cheat, and they don't wait when they know they've found the right one.
Filthy-sweet happily ever afters in bite-sized stories, some swearing, lots of steam, and always a happy ending.
The rest of the McAllister men will be available very soon too. And after them, there are three more families to meet. After that? Moonshine Ridge is where I'm living in my head right now, so expect to see plenty more of the rugged mountain landscapes and men who call them home.
Thanks guys!
