Oh wow... I just realized we are exactly 2 weeks away from next year. I'm going to need a minute to think about how I feel about that.

Christmas in Hope Peak is LIVE! It's short, it's cute, and it loosely ties in with the new Rogue Ops series.

This is a multi-author collaboration featuring 20 stories from 20 authors all bringing their (our) own vision to the holidays in the small town of Hope Peak, Montana.

It was an entirely new experience for me to work in a shared world like this and it was fun to finally throw my hat into one of these collaboration rings.

Buy it for $2.99 or read it in KU now!

The man she put behind bars has escaped, and he wants revenge.

When an old Army buddy contacts me, asking me to keep his sister safe, I don't hesitate; but the curvy little spitfire I promised to protect doesn't like my plan.

So, I make it simple for her: She can drive back home for the holidays with me, wearing my ring and playing the part of my smitten fiance; or she can stay here in L.A. and wear my handcuffs-- watching sappy holiday movies from the safety of my spare bedroom, where I can keep an eye on her.

When bad weather closes the road, we're forced to spend Christmas in a small town called Hope Peak where I find myself trapped in the last room available for miles-- with Avery's tempting curves, just one bed, and a killer on our trail.

I owe her brother my life, now I'll make sure Avery keeps hers. Because, by the time the killer catches up to us-- there's nothing fake about my feelings for her.

Happy holiday season, everyone! I hope everyone has something to celebrate, be it a holiday, a person, a fur-baby, or just a really sweet sunset. We all need to have something we can be excited for.

My nomad ways have landed me somewhere in the greater Needles/Laughlin/Bullhead City/Lake Havasu City metropolitan area for these last few weeks of 2025. (I'm amused by Arizona optimistically naming these towns "city." LOL!)

I'm on a slow roam southeast of here with high expectations for big changes in 2026. Everything's in holding patterns for now though, so there's nothing to share-- personally, or authorly-- just yet.

I am working on the next Rogue Ops book-- which will be Caspian's book. I've got character chatter in my head while the other team members elbow each other out of the way to get my attention...but even more interesting (to me) is that I got an earful from our villain recently.

Not the sexy, dark romance kinda villain-- this person is actually awful. And now, I know something nobody else knows.

I wonder if this is how mystery/thriller authors feel all the time?

Have You Read Unreliable Witness Yet?

I had a photo of the skoolie that was recently camped nearby with all it's festive Christmas lights blinking at night...but I just got a new phone and who knows what "album" the new phone has stuck it in?

Just imagine a very long, old school bus with the lower half painted Army green and multi-colored Christmas lights strung all along the roof line, blinking merrily in the desolate, Arizona (checks GPS-- yes, Arizona) desert night.
