I seriously just need to start a reader group where I can just spoiler-dump. Except, I think I'm in a minority of people who thrive on spoilers so-- there's that.

But there's a lot going on in this new Rogue Ops series and I'm hoping everyone likes it well enough to keep me writing them into the next phase of the story.

Several of the characters are (oh so loosely) based on real people I encountered on my summer road trip through the Pacific Northwest and I want every one of the imaginary backstories I gave them to lead to the happily ever afters I thought they should get.

When you get to the end of Unreliable Witness, you'll see a brief glimpse at Caspian "Cap's" story coming up next, but before-- or kind of while-- he gets his HEA, his baby sister is busy trying to get home for the holidays under the protection of her big brother's very grumpy best friend who's promised to protect her from the escaped con who's out for revenge.

Christmas with his Fake Fiance is connected to Rogue Ops, but totally not part of the series. Still, you should read it, because it's fun and cute and Booker and Avery make an adorable grumpy sunshine, enemies to lovers couple.

Personal life stuff?

I just ate the last doughnut hole. There is a Dunkin' on the other side of the river in Bullhead City, and it's been a rough week at the beginning of what's threatening to be another rough month, at the end of a rough year. I definitely deserved the doughnut holes. (FWIW: my spell check hates when I spell it "donut.")

I can't believe it's December already and I can't decide if I'm excited to be so close to starting a new year, or if I'm freaking out because I'm not done with this one yet.
