A Late Email but a Hearty Thank You

Pst: That's you!

The email is late this week; partly because I was so busy trying to make the deadline for the next Slow River Valley Ranches book-- which was Tuesday.

Spoiler alert: I didn't make it.

Partly because it has been very hot here, I've been trying to get the hobo house prepped to get back on the road, and I slept like absolute crap on Tuesday night, so I ate half a carton of chocolate Moose Tracks ice cream for dinner last night and crashed.

I woke up this morning and realized I'd totally spaced scheduling the newsletter before I fell asleep.

I was looking through my reader survey responses today and wanted to thank everyone who has filled it out!

(Haven't filled it out? Want to change your answers? Take the survey here.)

I love it when people fill in their own answers, some of them made me laugh!

Meanwhile, let's do one of those throwback Thursday things (even though it'll be Friday by the time some you get this,) and talk about A Taste of Sugar.

I don't hype this series often, because it's so different from what I mostly write, but I really like these books and, judging from the reader survey responses, many of you did too.

Did you know that there's supposed to be one more in the series? Swimming in Sugar will someday wrap up the quartet, but for now it's on the "write this someday" list along with 579 other projects.

(I totally already know the whole story too!)

Sugar isn't in KU anymore (sorry) but it will be getting added to the other retailers soon, and then it'll be available in Kobo Plus and on the Everand app for subscription model binge readers.

Alright...I'm going attack the other half of that ice cream, and try to finish The Cowboy's Friendly Wake-Up Call tonight!
