Happy Sunday, Rockstars!

(Checks calendar, makes sure it is, in fact, Sunday.)

I have another quick insta-love snack from the new Moonshine Ridge series. Complete with grumpy mountain man, innocent curvy heroine, more sights around the town of Moonshine Ridge and a few appearances from some of the town's most notable characters.

There's some gossip, some local lore, and some family history revealed.

Discovering the Mountain Man is available on Amazon for 99 cents and FREE in Kindle Unlimited.

Gossip and lore run deep in places like Moonshine Ridge, where the families that live here go back as far as the town itself.

Magnolia came here asking questions that I'd rather not know the answers to. Her distant aunt-- a mail order bride that arrived in the 1800s with a contract to marry my own ancestor-- disappeared under mysterious circumstances, and my family name has had a shadow hanging over it ever since.

As soon as I lay eyes on the innocent young newcomer to town with her soft curves and big blue eyes, I know she's mine. So I can't turn her down when she wants me to help her discover the truth that links our family history.

The only family history I want to talk about is the one I plan on making with Maggie and the babies I'm aching to put in her belly.

If Magnolia finds out that seven generations of local gossip is true will she still want me, or will she leave Moonshine Ridge and forever associate the McAllister name with murder?

***

Welcome to Moonshine Ridge and the rugged wilderness surrounding the remote mountain community where the history is long, the local lore is deep, and the men are as wild as the mountains they come from.

Protective, possessive, totally obsessed; the men of Moonshine Ridge will do anything necessary to claim the women they love and give her the happily ever after she deserves.

The Moonshine Ridge books contain a lot of insta love, some swearing, some steamy scenes, zero cheating, no cliffhangers, and a lot of swoon-worthy happy endings.

Greetings from the American southwest y'all!

I've been camped out in the greater wilds somewhere in the vicinity of Las Vegas for the last months now.

Today's absolutely astonishingly perfect gorgeousness aside-- temperatures are starting to rise and I think anything over 85F is unfit for human existence so it's about time to get moving on.

I'm headed into a part of Nevada that I'm not very familiar with, outside of a brief sighting from the saddle of a motorcycle back in 2015 when cruised down the Extraterrestrial Highway without stopping.

So I'm not sure what I'm going to find, not sure where I'm going to find it, and have no clue what "it" is.

(Internet-- I will need internet. Because there are more Moonshine Ridge books coming!)

When I emerged from my aluminum cave (the hobo house is a converted cargo trailer,) I discovered the prickly pear cactuses seem to have magically started blooming overnight. The desert is now covered in sporadic but gorgeous pops of insanely bright fuchsia. My snapshot in the high noon sun does not do the color justice.

I'll spare you the geology nerd lecture on the excellent example of "desert pavement" seen at the base of this Beaver Tail cactus. My former geology professor would be so proud to know that I was paying more attention to the rocks than the flowers after snapping a few photos.

Amidst the preparations to move on (there's grocery shopping to do and a laundromat to find and everything around the trailer has to get put away and cinched down,) Cedar and Cami's book is getting it's final draft sorted out and will be out soon!

I am super excited about Cedar and Cami, but notgonnalie-- Cypress is the oldest of the McAllister men and he's the one that's up there in his off-grid mountain man cabin stealing my heart. Can't wait.
