The Sweet Scent of Progress

After 2024's slow circle of the drain, 2025 is looking to be off to a good start.
First and foremost: The Slow River Valley Ranches series is finally approaching a legit debut!
I'm so close to wrapping up Gunner and Clementine's story that I almost set up the pre-order this week...but I chickened out. Just in case.
I'm having so much fun with this couple and I can't wait to share them with you. There's still a bit of an age gap between these two, but Clementine is no innocent little thing.
Clem's a tough-as-nails cowgirl who might actually be even grumpier than her grumpy cowboy.
Trust me! They're great together and their story is adorable.
I'll be back with new release news as soon as Clem gets it through her thick head that Gunner really is her HEA.
Soon! Very soon!
Meanwhile, one of the big projects for 2025 is to take the older books in my catalogue "wide," and make them available on storefronts outside of Amazon.
I know, I know! I'm sorry! This does mean that those books will be leaving Kindle Unlimited almost definitely forever.
But they will be available in the Kobo Plus subscription program!
If you haven't heard about Kobo+ yet, here's some very basic points:
From the author POV, we're able to offer our books to readers via a subscription plan like Kindle Unlimited, so you can binge read a ton of books for one low monthly price, and Kobo doesn't require us to keep our ebook exclusive to them and them only. So we can participate in Kobo+ and still sell our ebooks on retailers like Apple, Barnes & Noble, Google Play, and, of course, Amazon without having our publishing account threatened.
Kobo+ also pays authors if a reader re-reads the same book more than once in the program.
From the reader's POV, Kobo+ is cheaper than Kindle Unlimited (currently at $7.99 a month,) and gives you access to a whole new list of authors that aren't in KU.
You don't have to buy a new ereader just for Kobo either-- although you could-- but Kobo offers a free app that you can download to your phone or tablet.
So far, I've managed to test the waters outside of Amazon with one little book from the old days, but soon you'll be able to find the entire Match-Maker series, as well as the Wild Romances on all the major (and a few minor) stores.
Wanna test Kobo+ out? Naturally, I suggest starting with Bush.
More books from the way back days will be available soon, and I'll also get those fancy, universal links set up so its easy to choose the store you like best.
Woooo...this week's email got long! Oops!
I will be back next week with all the news on Cowboy's Close Quarters Claim for you! (Yup, I went with some long titles on this series. I just thought they were fun.)
