Happy Thanksgiving, United States peeps! Excuse me if I sleep through most of it and then call Cheetos and Diet Pepsi "dinner" when I emerge from my cocoon.

Truthfully; I have all the things I need for an almost traditional TG dinner right here in the hobo house. Mostly importantly; Stove Top Stuffing and gravy. Lots of gravy.

What's the thing YOU can't have Thanksgiving without?

I don't have much left in the way of blood-related family anymore, but I do often spend my holidays with friends. This year, however, I find myself too far to make it to anyone's table in time for dinner. That happens sometimes, and I'm okay with it, to be perfectly honest, but I'm already committed for next year.

I do have to read-through the final draft of Unreliable Witness and I might just ignore Hemingway's famous "write drunk/edit sober" advice and do that with a very large glass of wine in my hand tomorrow. (And you wonder how the typos slip through!)

I hope everyone eating too much turkey today still has room for pie. And everyone who isn't up to their eyeballs in mashed potatoes and greenbean casserole has a fabulous Thursday! And a great weekend, since I think the email lands in some inboxes well into the day.
