The Usual Very Clever Author Email
May 16, 2024 1:00 pm
Obviously-- I've been playing around with updating the newsletter graphics.
There's not much to this week's email, I'm afraid. I'm just camped on top of another mountain, writing a new book.
But I do have a cover for Zephyr and August's book!
Zephyr Hart:
Augustus Damiani glares at me and it's even better than I imagined it would be.
My insides turn to jelly and leak into my panties.
What are the odds that he'd be willing to help me out with the v-card problem? Because now that I've had a chance to meet him in real life like this? I'm even more convinced he's my number one pick.
coming soon
(no links, this week; it's not on pre-order yet)
We left off with Zephyr ogling the new man-candy in Moonshine Ridge at the end of Terra and Hawk's epilogue and Zephyr's story picks up about a month after that first sighting of Augustus Damiani.
Wanna play "inside the author's brain" for a minute? Augustus and I have had to have several off-stage conversations. He insists on being a bit of a romantic and far more gentlemanly than I expected him to be. Well-- Right up until he kidnaps his girl, that is.
Like they say: Romance heroes gonna romance hero.
That's what they say, right? Well, something like that, I guess.
Whispers on the Mountain is going slower than some of the other books as I keep having to get our male lead back on script but it's still on schedule for a May 29th release date.
I'll be back next week with an update that doesn't sound so much like I just made it up on the spot...probably.

Did you get to see the aurora last week? I didn't! Well-- my clouds are suspiciously purple (this is how the camera saw them,) but there were way too many clouds to catch any aurora activity. I was distraught, let me tell you!
If I'd just gone straight up to Colorado Springs to stay with my friend there, I'd have gotten great photos. But no! I wanted to come out here and finish Zephyr's book before I got distracted with socializing.
That'll teach me!
