Hurricane Hart and his girl, June, have been putting up quite a fight against their deadline-- to be honest, I'm still working on the final epilogues now.

But I'm not about to let a little thing like characters keep me from releasing their book on time! So, Cane and Junie's story is available for pre-order now!

Order it for 99 cents now and it'll show up in your library on June 19.

(No. I absolutely did not name June and schedule her story for June on purpose.)

Or wait till the nineteenth and read it in KU

Hurricane Hart

Five years ago, I gave up a career in pro ball after it cost me everything.

My family thinks I returned to Moonshine Ridge because they needed me here, but they don't know the secrets I keep from them.

Turns out, neither do I.

When the past I thought I'd lost forever comes looking for me, she does it with a four-year-old boy by the hand. One that looks too much like the man in the mirror for me to question anything other than why the hell did it take her this long?

I thought Junie was gone, another casualty of my downfall, but it turns out we've both been lied to.

The question is; do we take this second chance, now that we know that our first one was stolen, or am I about to lose everything important to me one more time?

One of the factors that has slowed me down with Hurricane's book has been spending a couple of weeks docked on a friend's land in beautiful Colorado.

There were wild turkeys and deer and a so many humming birds that it was really a little ridiculous.

The Millers Moths were migrating (moths everywhere,) and the Ponderosa Pines started covering everything with the fine layer of pale green pollen that coats absolutely everything in June-- I had to wipe my computer down several times even though I was indoors!

There was mail to get forwarded to me and an Amazon shipment I'd been putting off for too long.

And, of course, most importantly-- there was friend visiting to catch up on!

Despite being two days over my deadline, it was still time to hitch up the house and move on this morning.

I stopped by a rest area somewhere outside of Cheyenne, Wyoming late in the afternoon and found a brochure for a museum...

Oh Wyoming! You tease!

I will not be anywhere near Pinedale on this trip.

It's so unfair.

(But I've got an idea for a new book now!)

Frantically scrambling back to finish the book in time.
