It's already 3:30 in the morning and I almost forgot!

That's because I put aside the writing portion of the day hours ago and have been sitting in front of the computer looking for artwork ideas for future paperback versions of the books...while listening to spooky story podcasts.

I'm also all alone in the big, unfinished house for the next few nights-- and the big, unfinished house makes all kinds of weird noises and one of the doors needs to be adjusted, so sometimes, it just pops off the latch and swings open on its own.

The house has given me several good jump scares while I obsessively look at stock photography.

As usual, real life launched a new volley of crap torpedoes at me just hours after last week's email went out-- with me waking up on Thanksgiving day to bad news.

I'm determined not to let this newest drama get in the way of finishing the new book but... there's a chance I'll be telling a different story next week. We'll have to wait and see.

But Gunner and Clem are telling me their story faster than I can get it down, so it won't be long, no matter what.
