Writing updates, plus prizes and giveaways! 😄

Hi, !

I did it! I have officially finished writing book 2 of the Bloodcaster Chronicles! 😄

Usually, after I finish writing a book, I take a few days off. Get some space. Clear my head. Then, I go back and read through the whole thing, making changes and revisions as I go. After that, I send it off to beta readers!

So, what's brewing on the publishing front? Well, look out for a Nightcaster ebook box set releasing soon! 😉 Then, in the summer, I'll release my next series: the Bloodcaster Chronicles! An urban fantasy/paranormal romance trilogy about an assassin and an angel.

After that, I'm planning on switching gears a bit and writing a new kind of series--an epic fantasy series with mages, royalty, kingdoms, and castles! So I'll be venturing out of the paranormal/urban fantasy world and into the world of magic/royalty/fantasy romance 😊

I'm also excited to announce I'm participating in another author takeover and would love to see you there! I've participated in a lot of these lately, so some of you might be wondering: What's an author takeover?

It's usually an event celebrating another author's book release. Other indie authors are invited to participate, and for the space of a day or two, each author gets a block of time where they introduce themselves and their books, offer prizes and giveaways, and host games. It's a super fun way to get to know other indie authors, and there is absolutely no obligation to buy or read any of the authors' books, and you can leave the Facebook group as soon as the event is over. Plus, if you join in the festivities, you might win yourself some free books or Amazon gift cards! 😉

This takeover I'll be part of takes place this weekend. My segment is on Saturday, April 17, from 9:30 - 10:00pm (EST). I'll be giving away some gift cards and FREE copies of my books, so join in the fun! Here's the link to the group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/aimeeshayefans. Hope to see you there! 😊
