I've been hacked! 😫😭

I woke up this morning to find that someone had hacked my Facebook account in the middle of the night, changed my password, and gotten my account disabled 😭😭😭 After searching tirelessly on Google and Facebook for a way to recover my account, I finally decided to cut my losses and just create a new one.

Unfortunately, this means my Facebook page and Facebook readers group are gone 😭 (that's totally on me--I didn't make anyone else an admin, so there's no one else who can access them).

Would you do me a huge favor and Like/Follow my new Facebook page and join my new group? And if you know anyone who followed me before who needs to know about the new account, please spread the word!! I would greatly appreciate it 🙏 Seriously, this has been the biggest headache, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone 😟

So I'm adding a new segment to my emails specifically for those of you who are writing and looking to improve! Let me know if you like these segments or not because I want to make sure I'm giving you the best content I can 🙂 Please keep in mind I am not an expert by any means, but I do have a lot of experience that I would love to share with you!

This week's tip: Keeping the plot going

One critique I often get from beta readers is that as I'm writing the story, I forget what my main character's goals are. And the reader forgets it, too. Always remind your reader what the objective is and what's at stake. Make sure your character is always aware of their goal and what they need to do to get there. And make sure each plot point relates to that goal. Don't be afraid to remind the reader, too, like have the character think, I have to get the magic trident in order to save my kingdom! or whatever your goal is 😁
