Hi, !
Thank you SO MUCH for bearing with me during my Facebook crisis last week. All is well now. I have to start my author page from scratch, but it could be a lot worse! Thanks so much for your support! I appreciate all of you who moved over to the new readers group on Facebook. But, thankfully, there were admins I'd forgotten about who were able to add me back, so the OG readers group is back in business! If you joined the Coven of Readers Part II group, make sure you're in the OG group too! The link is here. I'll be closing the duplicate group later today.
As a gift for you for being such a wonderful subscriber, reader, and friend, I have a free story to share with you! I finally finished Cora's prequel story, The Demon's Blade! It's a novelette, so it's a bit shorter than a novel or novella. But it provides some great backstory into Cora and the darkness within her.

I've joined with multiple other YA Sci-fi/Fantasy authors to create a Facebook group where readers can connect and discuss their favorite books! If you'd like to branch out, meet like-minded readers, and get to know some other indie authors, then join the group here! The group is hosting a huge giveaway, which you can enter below in the More Bookish Goodies section π

This week's tip: Overcoming Writer's Block
Writer's Block is different for everyone. I have three suggestions that always help me get out of a rut:
- Write until you feel like writing. If you're blocked, write it out! Pretend to have a conversation with your characters and write that down. Talk to yourself on the page to work out the kinks in your plot.
- Take a break. Your muse may be burnt out. Find another creative outlet (painting, graphic design, etc). Recharge your batteries and come back to it with fresh eyes.
- Think about your story throughout the day. I know it sounds so simple, but it really does work! The best ideas seem to come when we're not writing. So, think about your story constantly. When you're driving, showering, cooking, cleaning... If it's on your mind all the time, eventually, you'll have a breakthrough! π
