👇 But if you're a fan of the lighthearted, heartwarming, "all-the-good-things-but-I-still-want-you-to-scare-me...kind-of" cozy mysteries, don't worry! I haven't forgotten about you! ❤️ I'm going to start by highlighting a personal favorite of mine, and it's because of one very special scene. I felt like I was there as I wrote it, living the scene with my characters.

In Dark Highways and Digging for Clues, Santiago begins acting strangely, but Megan isn't sure what it all means. She has her questions, but it isn't until she confronts him in the car ride home and he crumbles that she realizes he's hiding something much bigger than she thought. She gives him the space he asks for, but her heart is breaking for him. Even if she doesn't know why.
