➡️ Once when I was in 5th grade, I was almost kidnapped.
➡️ About 10 yrs ago I was on a walk at night and was nearly abducted. A dog saved my life. (I've told the story before, so you might know this one already.)
➡️ When I was stranded in Hawaii alone, God stopped me from getting into a shuttle bus with the wrong man.

Maybe these experiences are part of the reason I started writing. Wild adventures and near misses are just a part of life. I'm grateful for the way every single one of those experiences turned out.
