Hello!
I hope this email finds you in good health. Speaking of health, I had my most recent diabetes follow up and my A1C was a bit higher than normal. It's my fault, of course, because I've grown lax with my carb counting and walks. The winter months get cold here, which makes me not want to go outside.
The good news is we just got an exercise bike, so if it's raining or cold out, I can still get my exercise in. I kicked myself into gear, though, and I cut my carbs back down, so I think I'll be back on track in no time.
In my last newsletter, I mentioned I was at the Huntsville Comic and Pop Culture Expo. It went even better than I anticipated, and is now officially my highest earning event and my most profitable! I shared a booth with 4 other authors, and as a booth, we did over $5,000 in sales. It was all around amazing!
My next few events are local shows, but my upcoming bigger shows are ConCarolinas in Charlotte, North Carolina at the end of May/beginning of June and Fanboy Expo in Knoxville, Tennessee in July. If you live near either of those, check them out!
What I'm Working On
I finished the edits on the Dragon Riders of Mirstone anthology, and the formatting is complete. For those who backed the Kickstarter campaign, the ebooks will be arriving soon to your BookFunnel libraries, and the print editions will be shipping out in May (next month!).
I'm also juggling between writing projects. More details on that to come soon.
Below you'll find a book promotion with a chance to win a Dragon Prize Pack!
What I’m reading: I'm still working my way through Child of Fire by Austin Colton.
What I’m watching: I'm almost finished with the second season of Halo on Paramount+, and my wife and I watched an advanced screening of Unsung Hero this week. I'm a fan of the Halo games, and I think the show is great. The movie Unsung Hero was fantastic. If you're a fan of the group For King and Country or Rebecca St. James, I think you'll enjoy it.
What are you reading/watching?
As always, a huge thank you for the support!
Richard
