Hello!
Dragon Con was last weekend, and it was an absolute blast! I got to hang out with some author friends, met some new author peeps, set a new book sales record, and had an all around awesome time.
I spoke on 3 panels, 2 of which were on the YA Track. I love the YA Track. They're super organized and lovely people. They also post book covers on the wall, and one of mine was displayed. Pretty cool!
This weekend I'm in Kingsport Tennessee for Smoky Mountain Fan Fest with my author friend Keith Robinson. Come see us if you're in the area!
I'm working on a brand new project (I've finished 2 this year, but I've got plans for when I'm releasing them... more to come on that later). It's a new series and will have a fabric-based magic system. When I mentioned that on a panel, the audience gave a collection gasp of approval, ha! I'm really excited about this book, and I'll share more details once it's closer to being ready for publication.
I've been swamped this week with catching up on things and preparing to leave for another event, so this newsletter is a short one.

What I’m reading: I've begun a re-read of the Dragonlance books, and I've started with The Soulforge by Margaret Weis. This is my all-time favorite book, and it's been a while since I read it last. I'm about halfway through it, and it's bringing back so much nostalgia!
What I’m watching: I recently watched the live action How to Train Your Dragon movie, and it was fantastic! I really enjoyed it.
