I'm in Salt Lake City, Utah for my youngest brother's wedding! It's actually tomorrow, but I flew up a couple days early. Most of my siblings will be here, and I haven't seen many of them in almost a decade, so it'll be nice to see them.
Last weekend I was in Orlando Florida for the Shadows and Stardust Soiree, and I got to meet several new authors, as well as hang out with some online authors friends I hadn't met previously, including Jasmine Young!
We had dinner and talked writerly things at the Universal Citywalk. I really wanted to hit the theme park, but I couldn't go without my wife (she threatened me, ha!). If you haven't read any of Jasmine's books, I'll link the first book of her Realm Breaker series below for you to check out.
While at the event, I got to chat with my friend Jason Dorough, and I met 2 new author peeps, Reece Sherron and M. Angely:
Jason writes epic fantasy, Reece writes romantasy, and Michelle (M.) writes a series that's like a mashup of Harry Potter and Criminal Minds. They're all fantastic people, and it was awesome hanging out with them.
I'll be back to hitting the convention scene again, and I'll be traveling to places like Memphis Tennessee and Springfield Missouri. You can always see my list of events here.
I'm slowly making progress on my new series, so not much new on that front to report yet. With that said, the Kickstarter for my newest deluxe hardcover launched on Tuesday this week. It's my most recent trilogy all in one epic-looking book! I've linked it below in case you haven't seen it.
