Hello!
Spring draws ever closer, and I can't wait for the warmer weather to be the norm rather than a one-off.
Last weekend I was at Con Nooga in Chattanooga, TN and it was a fantastic event. I mentioned how ATL Comic Convention didn't do too well for me, but Con Nooga totally made up for that. It's my second best event in terms of dollars worth of books sold, and my most profitable event to date!
Tomorrow I'll be at a local event in Marietta, Georgia. It's called Marietta: the Gathering. A play on words, if you're familiar with a certain trading card game.
Another event I'll be doing soon is Tupelo Con in Tupelo, MS on March 16-17. That's another great event, so if you live in the area of that one, come check it out. I did that event last year and met someone who listened to my audiobooks. It was a surreal moment to meet a fan in the wild.
Speaking of audio, Karyne Norton and her brother run a podcast where they read short stories, and this week they did one of mine. You can find the details of where to listen to it below.
Below you'll find a free ebook promo, an audiobooks on YouTube promo, and a massive dragon book promotion!
What I’m reading: I'll be starting The Sword of Kaigan by M.L. Wang soon.
What I’m watching: I rewatched Ready Player One. It's such a fun movie, but it strayed a LOT from the book. I understand the reasons why, and I always have to remind myself that books can never be 100% adapted to film for a myriad of reasons.
What are you reading/watching?
As always, a huge thank you for the support!
Richard
Listen to my short story A Taste of Blood on the Finding Fantasy Reads podcast!
Over 20 sci-fi specific books to choose from! This one runs until March 31!
This YouTube promotion for free audiobooks ends on the 7th, so check it out while you can!
