Dragon Rogue by Melanie Ansley
Dragon Rogue, the explosive third book in the Riders of Jade & Fire series, thrusts Jin and her dragon Rayshan into a deadly maze of secrets and betrayal. Sent to assassinate a traitor trapped in a mage-induced sleep, they instead awaken a nightmare—one that shatters Jin's faith in the empire that made her a hero.
Injured and sworn to a dangerous lie, Jin is forced into training with the empire’s secret police to better understand the enemy she failed to kill. But will that training make her into the monster he is? As Jin uncovers the truth behind her mission, she realizes the greatest threat may come not from her enemies, but from the dark secrets at the heart of the empire—and her own mysterious past. Fans of Eragon, His Majesty’s Dragons, and Mulan will love this epic tale of dragons, destiny, and rebellion.
