Hello!

How are we in November already? It feels like Thanksgiving wasn't that long ago...

Except, it was almost a year ago. Crazy!

I'm at home this weekend, which feels strange since I've spent the last 10 weekends going to events. I (almost) don't know what to do with myself. I'll be writing, of course, working on Sworn, the final books in my Bound by Blood series.

Speaking of which, Acolyte, book 2, goes live on Tuesday. You can preorder it by clicking the image below:

In my last newsletter, I mentioned I was going to the Southern Festival of Books in Nashville. It was a fantastic event, and I met several cool people in the booths around mine. One of my followers on Facebook drove 3 hours to come see me!

Next weekend I'll be at CONjuration in Atlanta. It's a fantasy themed convention, focused heavily around Harry Potter, but it welcomes all fandoms. If you're planning to attend, you'll find me in the vendor hall.

The Kickstarter for the dragon pens ended on Halloween. It ended up only having a handful of backers, which was surprising because tons of people replied to my original email about them saying they were interested in buying one. Since only a small number are being made, that makes them more exclusive. Sorry if you missed out on them!

In an attempt to free up some space on my bookshelves, I'm offering a 33% discount on select titles on my store. Just use the code SAVE when ordering. You can click the image below to see my store:

Below you'll also a free ebook promo, a couple of giveaways, and details of my friend Eileen Mueller's newest Kickstarter!

What I’m reading: I finished The Last Shadow Knight by Michael Webb. It was a good read! There was a section in the middle where things were a little slow for my tastes, but things picked back up and it had a great ending. I'm now reading Dragon Rider by Taran Matharu. The writing is different, with some awkward phrasing choices at times, but the story is really interesting. It's got Roman empire vibes, but with magic and magical creatures that people can bond with. I'm almost halfway through, and I'm really enjoying it.

What I’m watching: I saw one of my favorite bands perform last weekend for the 7th time. For King and Country not only has great music, but they really go all out during their concerts.

What are you reading/watching?

As always, a huge thank you for the support!

Richard
