Book 2 is done!
Okay, by "done" I mean I have completed the draft and am sending it through to betas today. Once they've ripped through it, I get to put band-aids on my wounded pride and fix the story up before passing it along to my editor. But the countdown has begun. I was thinking of putting book 2 up for preorder once book 1 goes live and releasing around mid-december.
Otherwise I'm getting the files ready to round out the release of the first book. There's a lot to getting a book ready that's not just the writing it. The cover art in particular is killing me. Not that I'm doing it myself (if these newsletters haven't taught you anything, I have the graphical abilities of a gnat) but trying to figure out what I want is an interesting lesson in I HAVE NO IDEA.
Kind of on the same thought, I've mentioned it a couple times, but anyone who wants to be an ARC - leave a review on Amazon or GoodReads, please keep an eye out for my next email. I'll be providing a link to get the first of my books FREE, so you can review it. Do that, and I'll pass along the second book, and the third. If you like the books (You're still welcome to read and review if you don't, but I'm unsure why you would) it's a good way of getting the series without breaking the bank.
