Hello ,
Just a short one today. I've managed to catch the Covid, and it's causing me to sleep a good eighteen hours of the day. Great for my beauty sleep, not so good for the LONG LIST of stuff I wanted to get done.
But in case you haven't gotten the hint from every other email I've sent, that 'long list' gets ignored more than it gets worked on. In fact, I'm not going to lie, me "working on" my list actually just involves adding more things to it.
Chapter titles:
However, one thing I will get your help with is my important debate on chapter titles. As the first book gets handed off to my editor this week, I'm trying to decide whether it's worth the effort.
Any strong thoughts? Either pro chapter titles or against?
Otherwise, I'm going to leave you with the promos for the month:
On the Road to Greatness:
I like the name of this one. It's simple, it's catchy and it makes me think of epic fantasy. There are some great books included here, and I'm working my way through them.
Indie Fantasy Addicts giveaway:
So this giveaway is for the Indie Fantasy Addcit's facebook group. For those who are a part of it, you'll know all about their Summer Reading Challenge. If you're not, and you enjoy reading fantasy (especially Indie author's fantasy) join the group. It's a great community of fellow book nerds doing book nerd things.
Anyways... For their reading challenge the organizers piled together a bunch of free books so that those people who want to read can without breaking the bank. Check some of these out.
Otherwise, stay well until next time!
-Ren, Author who is going to have a nap.
