Delayed Results To Flatten The Wave?

Two Weeks To Flatten The Curve Waveimage

Remember “Two weeks to flatten the curve?”Seems like the slow-walking of results could be a "flatten the wave" strategy which buys time to take the narrative this week. I believe they’ve adopted the “flatten the curve” strategy to elections with the hopes to blunt the public perception of Democrat loses & Republican gains. The worst-case scenario is they could maybe scrounge up some votes to help close races. Or is this just solely a product of Republicans voting more on Election Day? No matter, we must still be vigilant and stay engaged on votes being counted and reported.

Where Did The 5,000+ Come From?image

According to the Elections Department, 118,933 were counted/reported on Tuesday with about 80,000 outstanding. Then on Wednesday 18,150 more ballots were counted/reported but the outstanding ballots only dropped by 10,000. Now, the Elections Dept did report that they received another 4,642 ballots (presumably in the mail) but this leaves 5,000+ ballots unaccounted for. The Elections Department should have clear ballot counts of how many they have in their custody but we're seeing fuzzy reporting. We'll keep an eye on this.

Based on a recent email from the Elections Department, the 80k from election night was an estimate because they “did not have the exact count of ballots received from drop boxes received on election night.”

What?!?

When you are in charge of ballots and required to maintain legal custody, how do you go home on election night not knowing how many ballots you have in custody?

LET’S ALL KEEP AN EYE ON THIS…
