Dear Petition Volunteer,
You are getting this special email because you were so critical in getting the historic mini-initiative of 11,505 signatures so that we could get in the room and force the County Councilors to deal with the open discrimination that Inslee's mandates were causing. Sadly, most of the Councilors acted in cowardice and quickly rejected all of the citizen's concerns and calls to action, which roughly equated to 10% of those that voted in the Nov 2021 election.
Since then we targeted Julie Olson, got her censured, and redistricted into District 5 (much harder for her to win) which she then retired and decided not to run... she's outta here!!! All the while, we got behind a great candidate in Michelle Belkot to replace her and also Don Benton who will help the people take back the County Council.
But all this hard work might be for nothing if we don't all roll up our sleeves these next 50 days so that we all can see some great results on November 8th.
