As you probably know, many have been working for several months to get a Mini-Initiative completed to ban all mandate that DISCRIMINATE. As a result, 11,505 people signed the historic petition in an amazing 57 days! This ordinance does NOT ban all mandates in general but only restores a Constitutional understanding that ADDS extra protection for the citizens of Clark County.

Even though I'd love to get rid of many of the Covid mandates, I know that a petition can't complete that wish. Only through creating laws can that happen, which is what you currently hard at work doing.

Yet, as January closes out and the final week for the petition approaches, the citizens of Clark County need your support ASAP. The Petition Hearing is February 1st and the Clark County Republican Councilors need to hear from you, my fellow Republicans, to strongly encourage them to pass the ordinance. If you haven't seen it yet, the CCRP has overwhelmingly passed resolutions calling on you to speak up and act to support the petition. I hope you will honor those calls and seek out the Clark County Councilors and make a public statement of support.

In fact, just yesterday, a press release was sent out calling "on all elected officials & candidates for office within Clark County to vigilantly speak & act to end Inslee’s discriminatory Covid Vaccine & Mask orders.” I trust that you will honor the citizens, PCO's and other Republicans that have supported you and elected you to represent them thus far.

Read the full ordinance here, but after you read it, I'm sure you'll see the need to support it so that Clark County Citizens can have their Constitutional protections restored regarding Covid mandates that discriminate. This is not a time to sit by and wait to see what happens. This is a time for Republicans in Clark County to rally together to restore a Constitutional framework for Inslee's ever-changing mandates.
