I will be at Kray's Coffee this Saturday (5/25) from 10am-12 noon to receive last-minute petition drop-offs and then will finish the final pickup from the locations below.
We have endured much through this effort, and I'm thankful for each person who has put in countless hours, often standing in the cold, to inform citizens about our need for election reforms and to get the REC on the November ballot for voters to decide. As you know, administrative, legal, and corporate elites have pulled out all the stops against us, including breaking the law, attempting to dox me, smearing our effort in the paper, pushing out false and improper legal opinions, working to change the Charter to stop future efforts, disobeying stated policing policy, filing bogus claims in court to obtain an injunction, and serving me with a lawsuit.
I am very proud of our work so far and confident that God will continue to guide us. I'm convinced that we need to keep pressing forward to expose corruption and highlight the need for reforms. If the public doesn't know about corruption, they'll never feel the need to change anything. When we sit back and do nothing, it gives them cover.
I will send out an update on Saturday or Sunday regarding the final outcome of the signature collection.
