18 DAYS UNTILL BALLOTS - 36 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION DAY
Elections aren't just determined on "election day" but are won and lost now... what we do to get the word out and help good candidates get elected to represent the people rather than more government control. Please support, volunteer and encourage others to not just vote but to help the candidate and the issues they represent for you into office. Here's some candidates and activities and events that you can support and attend (and invite friends to come with you!).

The Washington State Republican Party is IMMEDIATELY HIRING CANVASSERS
Positions are available in CLARK, THURSTON, PIERCE, KING, and SNOHOMISH counties. There's a particularly strong need for door knockers in CLARK COUNTY so anyone in the Greater Portland Metropolitan Area, regardless of whether they live in Oregon or Washington, is encouraged to apply! Pay is $20 an hour with many opportunities for performance based bonuses and the job would run until the general election on November 8th. They can work with your schedule and you can work anywhere from 10 to 40 hours a week! Young or old, male or female, lots of political experience or just starting out, all are welcome! No prior experience with canvassing is required! This is a great, low stress opportunity to be involved in politics, make new friends, get exercise while enjoying the great summer weather, and make a positive difference in your community! We must be an engaged, energized and educated citizenry and elections are won and lost RIGHT NOW... in the days leading up to the actual election day (primary) which is only 36 DAYS AWAY!

Windhaven Ride for Veterans 
The American Legion Tum Tum Post 168 Amboy WA is sponsoring the Windhaven Ride for Veterans in support of local veterans with military-related injuries. This is a motorcycle, Hotrod, Classic Car escort cruise from Ridgefield WA to Amboy WA. The funds raised will provide the ability to set up a scholarship program for injured veterans who otherwise could not participate in the program, (an equestrian therapeutic program) and support Tum Tum Post 168s veterans programs. September 17, 2022, is the date, it is a Saturday, and open to all motorcycles, trikes, Hotrods, and Classic Car enthusiasts that also have a desire to directly help veterans. Click here for more info
