Ridgefield School District Failed to Protect Students, Celebrated the Coach in Question, Then Outed the Students image

In the latest ReformCast, I share a wild—but true—story about Ridgefield School District largely ignoring complaints of emotional abuse by a cheer coach, choosing instead to nominate her for “Coach of the Year,” only to decide to “part ways” just days later. NEW ANTI-ICE RESOLUTION TO BE DISCUSSED WEDNESDAY AT 1 PM

Read the Anti-ICE resolution HERE. My sources tell me it originally started out much stronger, but this latest draft is fairly tame and is sure to disappoint those advocating for a bolder resolution than what the City of Vancouver adopted. There’s little doubt the Council blinked and decided not to go further than Vancouver, instead significantly watering down the language.

Even though there are points I could agree with — such as the County having no jurisdiction over federal enforcement and the right of people to protest — the resolution is unnecessary and still makes disparaging claims about federal agencies that have not been proven to be accurate.

If you do plan to attend and provide public comment, be respectful, thoughtful, calm, and confident. The Left would like nothing more than to provoke a bad reaction from those opposing this Anti-ICE resolution in order to divert attention and vilify our side.

imageICYMI: WATCH REFORMCAST E4: Frosty Meetings: Anti-ICE Activism, Library Turmoil, and the Battle for Clark County

In this episode of ReformCast, Rob Anderson breaks down a series of tense — and telling — public meetings in Clark County that signal rising political pressure, organized activism, and high-stakes institutional battles.

Rob opens with what he describes as a watershed County Council Time meeting, packed wall-to-wall with organized activists pushing for an expanded anti-ICE resolution. Unlike typical, sparsely attended council meetings, this one was volatile and intimidating, marked by heckling, coordinated talking points, and repeated attempts by Councilor Sue Marshall to control the crowd. Rob examines how groups like Indivisible Greater Vancouver and Portland-based anti-ICE organizations mobilized supporters, distributed scripts, and demanded the county go further than Vancouver’s recent resolution — potentially denouncing not just ICE and DHS, but the FBI and other law enforcement agencies as well.
