The phrase “If there is any encouragement in Christ” should capture the attention of every Christian. After all, Jesus is the ultimate source of encouragement. The fact that He took our sins upon Himself is the greatest encouragement of all. Now, imagine a group of Christians gathered together—the natural expectation is that they will strengthen one another in Christ and build each other up in faith. Before their conversion, that same group would not have had the potential for such a powerful and uplifting outcome.
