In every generation there are those that oppose the things of God. They push the works of God to the side in favor of their twisted agenda. Fortunately, God raises up those that fear Him. In our passage two women are named as the instruments of God to preserve a generation of males.

In the age of Christianity there are those that oppose Christ Jesus. They are called antichrists. Their numbers are increasing in the mainline denominational churches. They are accompanied by false teachers. Their entrance into the church was ushered in through mission drift in the churches. Churches that once taught faithfully the word of God began teaching half truths.

The need of the moment is for Christians to fear God and faithfully follow His word. Those people will be like the midwives of Egypt and have the face of God smiling down on them. Now that is exciting.
