Quarter 1 was a ride! Fadda Lawd.....

Hi ,

Quarter one is already gone and I can tell you it has not been easy for me. I wouldn't go into much detail but I did fall into some dark days, to the point of just giving up on this business (I can hear you saying NOOOOOO) and I will not hide that.

I had to make some decisions and still am making decisions to improve everything.

I will say though that one thing I didn't stop doing is moving my body. There were days I just felt like I didn't want to move but I remembered my 'newer' whys and both of them relate to perimenopause..

  1. New Why numero uno - Moving my body will help to reduce the impact of symptoms like hot flashes, bone loss, anxiety. I haven't experienced any yet just the period ish but doing what I can to reduce the impact. Call it being PROACTIVE cuz I ain't bout dat life!
  2. New Why numero dos - Keeping muscle mass on my body will not only help me to continue looking toned and sexy but I I am building the foundation for me to continue being independent in my golden years. I plan to be OUTSIDE and creating memories. I can't do that if I am frail and afraid of breaking a hip.

I will keep saying this and probably sound like a broken record. This is the criticial window to take care of your health. You CANNOT continue putting it off. What you do now will set the foundation for your health in the future.

NUFF women are living longer but in piss poor health.

I want to live in a world where we are living longer but in good health and as vibrant as ever.

Freedom, Happiness, Balance

Renee

P.S In May, I will be launching a Perimenopause Programme and will be sharing more details shortly. If you responded 'Ditch It' from the last email, keep you eye peeled for the announcement.
