Perimenopause is like Orion and The Dark

Hi

Friday nights are typically movie nights for me and last week Friday I chose to watch a 3D animation called Orion and The Dark. Yes I still watch cartoons.

Anyhow I was thinking of how Orion might be like you and The Dark is perimenopause. Orion was fearful of the dark, but one nightThe Dark appeared and persuaded Orion to let him show him that there was nothing to be afraid of. Was Orion fully open to it? Of course not! If he could piss his pants, he would. But guess what, The Dark will appear regardless so he accepted the invitation. Orion had the opportunity to really understand The Dark and his fears eventually dissipated.

I know that there is still a HUGE gap related to awareness/education about perimenopause and you might have some fear around what it brings. This is perfectly normal.

According to some research, women that have negative feelings tend to have a worst experience. Yes I know that things will change and not knowing exactly what can happen will be daunting but what you think and feel can influence your experience.

However if you decide to educate yourself and be prepared, you will realise perimenopause is nothing to be afraid of. I am here to continue educating you whether it is via this newsletter, services or workshops that I offer.

Become Orion. Do not let the fear of the Dark paralyze you. Make it your business to really understand this transition so that it would not be as bad as your mind perceives it to be.

Freedom, Happiness, Balance

Renee
