Can I interest you in some ugly cookies? 🍪🍪🍪

Hey, amazing person!

It's the day after Christmas, which we celebrate in my house in a very agnostic way. We have two little boys (3 and 5) who get very swept up in the magic of traditions and, of course, PRESENTS, which makes Christmas a lot of fun around our house. Exhausting fun, but fun nonetheless. Do you have any holiday traditions around your house? One I remember from so many Decembers in my childhood is decorating sugar cookies with buttercream icing. I recreated that with my boys and the results were just as delicious as they were unattractive. 😂

I'd love to know what traditions you keep alive during this time of year.

What I'm writing

I'm working on Signs of Spring, which is the second half of a duet with Long Winter, a contemporary MM romance between Robbie, a rancher, and Lance, the estranged best friend of his little brother. Long Winter will be available as part of the Winter Wonderland gay romance event coming up January 1-10.

Of course, I'm also plugging away at Undertow, which is such a fun story to pick up when I need a break from my primary project. More on Undertow, below!

What I'm reading

I have been taking advantage of my early access to the Winter Wonderland event, so I can tell you with confidence that there are many amazing stories submitted in nearly every genre. There really is something for everyone, with more than 180 participating authors! When January 1 comes, I'll be sure to get a link for you to follow where you can find Long Winter and the other participants' submissions, all for free!
