It's February, which means it's almost March! Which means it's almost my birthday! This'll be my 33rd birthday, one more year til I turn the very best number. I need to figure out something super special for when that day comes...

Before anything else, you gotta check out what my wife's been up to! She's begun making her own bread at home, and crafted these tasty morsels up within the last month.

In my relentless quest for learning new skills, I entered my first serious online fighting game tournament for Blazblue Central Fiction on the 21st... and got totally obliterated. However, I know I'm improving tremendously, especially since my first few days of playing the game, and I've been grinding it at least one day per week in that time.

Here's footage from one of my recent online casual matches; I played this guy for ~25 matches or so, only winning 1 match before this one, our last match before they had to leave. I felt the cogs click into place, but I still have much to learn! Honestly, that I'm turning 33 and can still even do stuff like this is plenty to be happy about.

Sunrise

It's been a long time coming, but I'd finally drawn Amaterasu, the main character from one of the most beautiful video games ever crafted, Okami! This game is incredibly important to me, as it's one of the major inspirations behind my story, as well as it's my wife's favorite game of all time. Add to it the news of a sequel and the 20th anniversary coming in April, the timing couldn't have been better.

An old work from 2020 I'd essentially buried and forgotten, I'd went back to it with everything I've learned in that time and evolved this into a true beast. I'd drawn this cybernetic samurai armor concept, inspired by the likes of Power Rangers and Kamen Rider, in a doodle at my job, and wanted to create something like a sci-fi manga cover, featuring this badass cyborg assassin as the main character.

Nowhere to Run!

Some Juri art, with her as she's depicted from Street Fighter 6, honestly the coolest she's ever looked. I need to start playing more fighting games, and the more I consider it, when I start up SF6 I might just learn Juri.

Arcade Stick Templates

I'm hoping to start making arcade stick art and offer it as a service with my commissions. Here are two templates using my own stick, a Qanba Drone 2, featuring my art of Juri and my Blazblue main, Mu-12.

A new batch of chibi art for February, featuring Amaterasu (Okami), Ubel (Frieren: Beyond Journey's End), I-No (Guilty Gear Strive), and Lili (Tekken).

New Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mega Evo Sticker Designs

Some more Pokémon Mega Evo sticker designs. Here's Mega Scolipede, Mega Houndoom, and Mega Gardevoir. Some others I have planned include Lucario, Dragonite, Gallade, Skarmory, Malamar, and more!

~ ✒️WORKS-IN-PROGRESS (WIPs)!✒️ ~

Wanted to draw Deadpool after I'd heard he'd been released as a new character in Marvel Rivals.

Finally getting back to work drawing my own characters! Here's the main character of FORSAKEN, my original dark fantasy story, Amqueela (pronounced "ahm-KEE-lah"), stalking through a dark forest. I had to capture his truly intimidating demeanor, and I thought the added touch of a border of forest elements such as grass and shrubs would be cool, making it appear the viewer had been caught peering through a bush. He's VERY pissed!

You've heard of "void cats", so could I interest you in the idea of "void snakes"? I plan to make a bunch of these little fellas and make my first sticker sheets with them.

Speaking of snakes, here's a little doodle I'd like to make as the cover art for some sketchbooks I'm looking to have printed.
