Jumping at the proposed interview schedule seemed right, until my lack of preparation became clear.

Some years ago, after applying to jobs for what felt like ages, I finally received an interview request from a recruiter.

I was thrilled! In my excitement, I hastily agreed to the proposed interview time without pausing to consider if I would have enough time to fully prepare for that specific job.

As the interview date approached, I realized I hadn't adequately prepared.

I scrambled to review relevant materials and reached out to mentors and peers, but I couldn't secure their time due to the short notice.
