Instagram LogoStairways I might just love spiral staircases! This was an unexpected find in @visitballarat at the Provincial furniture store and cafe. The stairs lead to the rest of the show room and the upstairs cafe and it's just stunning!
Instagram LogoClassic I can't believe how many gorgeous colonial buildings @visitballarat has! I may have spent a decent amount of time just wandering the town and taking photos of the facades
Instagram LogoColonial Ballarat has some amazing historic buildings with very grand colonial designs. I spent a lot of my time take photos of the various ones but this one certainly caught my eye with the gold lettering and archway.
Instagram LogoWendouree It has been SUCH a pleasant weekend so far with brunch and a walk around the lake. Soon to be followed by a wander through the town and the art gallery. Happened to find these little boat houses. I wonder what's inside? Anyone know?
Instagram LogoWelcome 2021 Hello from Ballarat! After the year that was 2020, I'm beginning this year with the things I missed: travel, breaks and lots of brunches! That's why day 1 of 2021 includes a road trip here and burgers with plans for brunch tomorrow. I'm hoping to do a lot more of these mini breaks and more focus on photography on here and making short videos too!
Instagram LogoBye 2020 I don't think this year has been anything like what people hoped for. The bushfires brought some hellish visions of what was happening around the country, then came the pandemic and the lock downs, the economy hit the rocks, the US elections were 'interesting', there was a second wave and now there's fears rising again... What a year! But in the same year, I saw many friends support their neighbours, do the right thing by following the rules for others, take up cooking, look after those less fortunate and generally learn to love in the quiet moments. On the clinical front, it's been a tiring year and I'm ready for a break! In the small bits of quiet in the year, I got to learn some programming, start an email newsletter, make the jigsaw puzzle and create a calendar- a few of my bucket list items done! Overall, I hope this year's taught us to look after one another better and to enjoy the moments of quiet instead of rushing through life... (But let's not repeat 2020, please!)
Instagram LogoMerry Xmas! Hope you're having a great day of festivities today ! While I don't celebrate the holiday, I'm grateful to.have the day off and to be able to spend it friends and family. Stay safe and enjoy!
Instagram LogoBeach side After so many city shots, here's some forms quick trip down to Frankston a few weeks ago. Here's to a summer with plenty more local trips!
Instagram LogoRow boat The light show at Princes Bridge is one of the many attractions now active around the city. Have you been out and about exploring and seeing them? If so, which one is your favourite?
Instagram LogoDavid & Goliath Not that there's a giant fight brewing, just sounded like an appropriate title given how immense @crownmelbourne looks next to the guy standing there. Another shot on the @googlepixel 5 with editing in @lightroom & @lensdistortions Before and after so you can see the edit.
