It's move-o'clock over here in Sunday Surprise headquarters. I'm typing this from my new "study" and by the I mean, bomb site since the whole place is currently a pretty accurate description of the word "chaos" (see pic below). Weekly Summary
Since pictures are worth a thousand words and all that, lets begin with how my desk looks right now:
There's artwork that needs to hung, my calendars that need to be shipped (someone ordered one over the weekend!)...and a drill... because of course there needs to be a drill!
Even with the long weekend here in Melbourne, it's been a pretty solid amount of just shifting boxes from one place to another. I've even taken tomorrow off work to hopefully get all the old stuff into the new place. More on that over on the blog...
Creative update
I wish I could say I had time to make extensive creative things this week, but the best I can show is this edit of a photo I took tonight of the Mooba Finale Fireworks.

How goats (allegedly) discovered coffee
Even the link will class this as a legend but a lot of them are kind of similar about how goats were instrumental in discovering coffee. I only stumbled onto this legend/fact because there is a cafe in Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia called "The Giddy Goat" which I thought was an odd name til their menu explained the back story...

Look, I WANT to dislike everything other than Adobe Premiere or Davinci Resolve, but Filmora is just so darn easy to use and fast for even relatively underpowered hardware that it's hard NOT to use it for any video editing.
Other editors can stutter and make editing a pain on a thin and light device like my Surface Pro, but not Filmora! It gets the basics done quickly and can do 90% of what the more expensive apps can do but faster and cheaper. Check it out if you're editing videos. They also have a mobile app.

Inside a micro NYC apartment from the future
I had seen something like this based in Hong Kong about 10 years ago but this is a level up! Essentially it's a transforming apartment with sectioned out space that automatically transforms into various configurations to make tiny apartments liveable. My personal favourite is their bed and just how well it integrates with the rest of the furniture.

Maybe it's the sheer repetitiveness of the past 2 weeks that's made me notice quotes such as this but Oscar Wilde does have a point, right?
If it's not just slipping into the "day to day" or trying for realistic vs the ambitious goal, I think everyone struggles with this in some way shape or form. After all, it's exhausting to manage the day to day, but maybe that's why things need to change?
