On Pointe was just the beginning...

What a whirlwind of a week it's been. But the sun is out, summer is on it's way, and plans are afoot.

I gave myself the month of May off writing to relax after finishing up the On Pointe series, and while my fingers have been itching to work on the next thing, the slower pace has been wonderful.

What's New?

Heart to Heart is out and the On Pointe series is now complete! Writing about Hannah, Olivia, Katy, and Lisa and getting to know Trevor and the boys has been such a journey! I love these little turds so much and I'm going to be sad not to be with them 24/7 anymore.

The entire series is available now on Kindle Unlimited and in paperback at your favorite retailer.

If you've read them all, have you left a review? Leaving a review is the best thing you can do to support an indie author like me.

What's Next?

Now that I have a complete series, my releases will slow down in the future- releasing 4 books in 4 months was bananas!

BUT! I'm already getting started on my next series. It doesn't have a name yet so we'll just call it the BS series for now (double entendre fully intended). I had someone in my reader group ask me if this next series will also be about dancers and the answer is....kind of?

This series is ballet-related, but the characters themselves are not aspiring ballerinas like Hannah and the gang. I know, I know, I'm being a terrible tease, but just trust me on this one. It's a bit of all the things I love as a reader, with a subtle ballet twist.

I'm not quite ready to share any more details yet, but I'm planning to release 2 full-length books and a Christmas novella for this series by the end of the year. I'll share more details as I get things in place but you can expect Book 1 to release late this summer!

Want to Try Something New?

It's been a rough week in my author circle. Claire Kingsley, an author who I love and admire, lost her husband unexpectedly on Wednesday. She writes steamy contemporary romance (definitely 18+ and not YA) and has a way of building the most relatable, beautiful characters. If you want to support her, all of her books are available in Kindle Unlimited.

Instead of recommending a new YA book for you, I'm going to link to the first book of Claire's that I ever read, Book Boyfriend. If you like steamy romance, you can't go wrong with any of her books, but this one is particularly close to my heart. In fact, I'm going to gift a copy of it to the first 3 readers who respond to this email.

Check out the blurb below and help me support this amazing author who just had her world turned upside down.

He’s too hot for words.

Mia

Alex Lawson might as well be the hottest book boyfriend imaginable. A fun, romantic, possessive, panty-melting man. And the best part? He’s real. For a girl like me—a slightly awkward book addict—Alex is a dream come true, straight off the pages of my favorite romance novels.

But our story is turning into a whirlwind romance—the kind that only exists in books. Are we heading toward our own happily ever after? Or is he too good to be true?

Alex

Here’s the thing: I’m not a bad guy. Lying to Mia wasn’t part of the plan. Finding success as a romance author using a female pen name wasn’t part of the plan either. But sometimes life takes unexpected turns.

Like realizing the woman you’re falling for is your alter-ego’s online best friend.

Online, she thinks I’m a woman named Lexi. In person, she knows I’m all man. I want to worship her body and claim every inch of her. But if she discovers my secret, I could lose everything.

***Book Boyfriend is a stand alone romance with a guaranteed to make you swoon HEA. It contains mature language and content and is intended for a mature audience. Fair warning, ladies—Alex will melt your panties off, so have an extra pair on hand before you one click.***

That's all for now my lovelies.

Be amazing,

Penelope
