a preorder, a surprise and my baby
Sep 30, 2021 5:55 pm
Hello lovelies,
My kiddo started filling out college applications last night and I realized in that second, I am not ready for her to be a grown up.
We live in a college town where football is huge, and last weekend was move-in day and the first football game. I am not ready for my baby to be counted among those college kids. I was also very unprepared for the crazy traffic it created in my little town.
Is anyone else having a “when did I get so old” existential crisis this fall? Just me? Cool.

Want to Try Something New?
Okay, it's not a secret that Danielle Keil and I have a long-distance love affair with each other's books. But I had no idea she was writing this adorable crossover series with Emily Silver until she surprised me with a copy in the mail! (also, I got a sneak peek at the first book in Danielle's series and you guys...you don't want to miss it!)
Fourteen years ago, the Queen arranged a marriage between her son, Prince James, and Lady Zara. They defied the odds, fell in love,
and lived happily ever after.
Now, they’re raising the next generation of royals, including the direct heir, Princess Margaret. To say it’s not all smooth sailing would be an understatement. When problems arise, Prince James lands the job of acting King sooner than expected. At only eleven, Princess Margaret is forced to grow up quickly, become the kingdom’s perfect princess, and help care for her three younger siblings.
Will Prince James’ promotion leave the family in shambles?
Will Princess Margaret become what her father needs her to be?
Royal Roots is an epilogue novella for Emily Silver's The Ainsworth Royals series.
It is a standalone/starter novella for Danielle Keil's The Ainsworth Royals: The Next Generation series.
So while you're waiting for me to get Crossed Stars ready for you, go check out Emily Silver's series here, and get ready for Danielle's continuation with the next generation!
Stay amazing,
Penelope
