Hello Lovelies,

After a crazy hot summer here in the PNW, the temperatures have finally started dropping and the nights are getting crisp. I’ve been watching the leaves start to change colors while walking my dog every day and I’m excited for Fall!

I know it’s still stupidly hot for some of you, and I’m sending all the cool, rainy thoughts your way I can. And I’m sending all the love to any of my readers who were affected by Hurricane Ida. 

What’s New

My laptop! After weeks of hardly getting any writing done, I was all ready to sit down and blast out some more chapters when my laptop died on me. And then, when I took it in to see if it could be fixed I got told that they don’t stock parts for computers that old (old?!?!). Long story short, after 2 weeks of making do by writing on my phone and Ipad I finally have a brand new laptop and I’m getting all the pretty words written.

Pretty words like these:

Leaning in close, I whisper in her ear. “Then hold still while I ‘pray’ and a kiss I shall take.” I sound like an idiot, but it’s working. The angel is stock-still while I brush my lips across hers.

These:

“Ah, yes. Knees. Very scandalous, those knobbly things.”

And these:

God, I’m just another one of the dumb girls he flirts with, aren’t I? Stupid stomach, quit filling with butterflies every time he touches you.

What’s Next

I’m still plodding my way through words and dreaming up ideas for a cover. I'm sorry this book has been so much slower coming than I anticipated, but I promise I'm getting it done as quickly as I can!

I’m still hoping for a fall release of this book, wish me luck!
