Once a year or so, I'll enter one of my books into a sweepstakes giveaway. Usually it's a few ebook copies--easier to format and much easier to send.

A few weeks ago I got my author copies of The Piper's Wake in the mail... and they're epic.
While I release most of my fantasy novels as paperbacks by default (it's my preferred reading option, and, I'm sure, some of yours as well), this was my first time releasing a hardcover as well.
And... I'm blown away. It feels like a fairytale book packed with all sorts of nostalgia and magic. It's the first book I've actually put on display in my home, next to the decorative bamboo and Gintama figurines.
